1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Pointline service at pointline.dev (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Pointline develops and operates digital products — software tools, applications, and platforms (collectively, the “Products”). These Terms govern your use of any Product offered by Pointline, including but not limited to:

  • Web-based SaaS applications and tools
  • Mobile-optimized digital services
  • APIs and integrations provided by our Products
  • Any associated websites, documentation, and support

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

4. Payment Terms

Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Polar’s terms and conditions in addition to these Terms.

  • Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan selected.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled in accordance with Polar’s refund policy.
  • Polar handles all applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) as the Merchant of Record.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, or infringing
  • Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the Service’s security features
  • Use the Service to compete with Pointline or build a competing product
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without prior written consent

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content, data, or materials you upload, create, or provide through our Products (“Your Content”). By using the Products, you grant Pointline a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service.

Our Property

Our Products — including their software, algorithms, UI, and documentation — remain the property of Pointline. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except as necessary to use the Products.

7. AI-Powered Features Disclaimer

Some of our Products may use artificial intelligence to provide features and functionality. While we strive for accuracy and quality:

  • AI-powered features may produce results that contain errors or inaccuracies.
  • You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated output before relying on it.
  • Pointline does not guarantee that AI-powered features will achieve any specific results.
  • AI-generated suggestions and analyses are provided for informational purposes and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for important decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pointline and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amounts you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, upon notice. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
  • We may delete your account data within 30 days of termination.
  • Any content you created using our Products remains your property.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
