The problem
The least-sexy category needs the most rigorous brand.
COBOL modernization is the most consequential, least sexy software category there is. Enterprise teams running 40-year-old codebases need to migrate, but the consequences of a bad migration - downtime, data loss, lineage gaps - are existential. z/Evolve's previous brand and site read like generic enterprise-software fare; nothing communicated the rigor needed to be trusted with this work.
